We are proud to offer AquaBloom, our specialized behaviour intervention services in a pool environment! In this setting, swimming skills serve as a dynamic tool for our therapist to implement the participant's individualized Behaviour Plan of Intervention. Progress is tracked through daily logs that monitor individualized goals as outlined in the Behaviour Plan of Intervention. AquaBloom is especially beneficial for individuals with diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), ADHD, anxiety, and other behavioural challenges.
With personalized 1:1 support, each participant builds a trusting connection with their instructor in a fun, supportive aquatic environment through engaging games and songs, all while incorporating behaviour intervention. The one-on-one approach ensures your child receives both emotional and physical support, allowing them to thrive in each session.
Our program, led by Behaviour Consultant Martina Villa and supervised by BCBA Kelly Warburton, integrates evidence-based practices into swim sessions to foster behaviour and skill development. With more than 9 years of experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor, Martina fosters a supportive environment that encourages learning and engagement, while ensuring your child’s individual behavioural goals are incorporated into each session. As a former national-level competitor for both Canada and Brazil, Martina is dedicated to making swimming a fun and accessible experience for all.
Join us for our upcoming Group Social Skills Program designed specifically to help individuals connect and thrive with peers! This engaging program provides a supportive environment where participants can develop essential social skills through interactive activities, games, and guided discussions. Our experienced instructors will facilitate group interactions that promote communication, teamwork, and friendship-building. Each session focuses on practical skills that enhance social confidence and help children navigate social situations more effectively. We believe that social skills are crucial for personal growth and happiness, and we’re excited to support your child on their journey to building meaningful connections with peers.
