Whether you’re looking for early intervention, kindergarten preparation, help with daily living skills, improving social skills, or support with challenging behaviour, we are here to support your family!
How can we help you?
We understand the difficult process families face when seeking services for their child. In our complimentary consultation, you'll have the chance to express your concerns and aspirations for your child and family's future. We'll provide detailed information about our services to see if we're the right fit for your family. If so, the next step involves completing the intake process to determine the best way we can support your child.
Please complete the "Inquiry Form" below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Conduct Assessment
Throughout the intake phase, we assess your child's needs and areas of strength across a range of skill sets, including communication, play, motor, and social skills. This evaluation involves caregiver interviews, observations, and/or direct skills assessments. For challenging behaviour, we will determine the function, meaning we determine why the child engages in the behaviour and what purpose it serves.
Develop Plan
Based on caregiver priorities and assessment outcomes, we develop a Behavior Support Plan aimed at addressing skill deficits and managing challenging behaviour. Our teaching methodologies adhere to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and involve collaborative efforts with other service providers, such as Occupational Therapists (OT), Physical Therapists (PT), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP).
Provide Training
We will equip both family members and team members with the essential skills needed to effectively implement the Behavior Support Plan with the child. This includes reviewing the written plan, addressing any inquiries, demonstrating strategies, offering practice opportunities, and providing constructive feedback to ensure successful implementation.
Ongoing Monitoring
After the completion of training, we maintain involvement as we offer continuous support. We assist in troubleshooting any emerging challenges, adjust the plan as necessary, analyze data, track the child's progress, and offer feedback. Regular check-ins with caregivers will ensure that the implemented changes are beneficial for both the child and the family. Our aim is to promote generalization, enabling children to apply learned skills in diverse settings and scenarios.
