Job Title: Behaviour Consultant

Wildflowers Behaviour Consulting is currently seeking qualified Behaviour Consultants to work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other developmental disorders in the Lower Mainland.  The successful candidate will receive support and supervision from a BCBA. Due to the importance of building trusting relationships with children and families, we request a long-term commitment from all applicants.   


 Requirements for Successful Candidates: 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Comprehensive understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles 
  • Minimum 1 year experience providing behavioural support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Master's degree (or currently enrolled) in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related discipline


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessment to identify needs of child/family 
  • Develop function-based behaviour intervention
  • Provide training to caregivers and service providers to ensure effective implementation of Behaviour Support Plan 
  • Stay updated on current literature and research in the field of ABA

Job Title: Behaviour Interventionist

Wildflowers Behaviour Consulting is currently seeking qualified Behaviour Interventionists to work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other developmental disorders in the Lower Mainland.  The successful candidate will implement behaviour intervention under the direction of qualified Behaviour Consultant and BCBA. Due to the importance of building trusting relationships with children and families, we request a long-term commitment from all applicants.   


 Requirements for Successful Candidates: 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain an organized environment 
  • High enthusiasm with great play skills 
  • Minimum 1 year experience providing behaviour intervention to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Minimum age of 19
  • Clear Criminal Record Check completed, within the last 6 months 
  • Consistent access to a reliable vehicle, with a valid driver's license, an asset 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach program goals, as directed by BCBA
  • Collect data on a regular basis, reviewing client progress with team members 
  • Create materials related to the child's Behaviour Support Plan 
  • Attend and participate in team meetings
  • Accept and implement feedback in a timely manner
